Motor Homing Repeatability Test
TEST_PRECISION · V4.23Home and repeatedly travel the chosen axis/motor to measure repeatability.
Hexadecimal notation is used for IDs, indexes, modes and sentinel values where applicable. Physical quantities (such as pulses, milliseconds and pulse/s) remain in their native units. Macro names are shown only when defined by the firmware.
Input parameters
| Parameter | Initial value | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
Axis / targetaxis | X | Choose X/Y/Z/R in interpolation mode or an available motor in independent-motor mode. |
Test travel pulsestest_pulse_count | 10000 | Travel pulse quantity for repeated homing-position tests. |
Test counttest_count | 10 | Number of repeated tests, from 1 to 100; this causes repeated real motion. |
Initial values are editor defaults for a newly inserted instruction; configure them for the actual machine.
Execution and usage
- Choose XYZR in coordinate mode or an available independent motor. This is motion, not a static query.
