Set Homing Profile
SET_HOME_PROFILE · V4.23Set the selected coordinate axis homing profile for this task. It does not home the axis; subsequent HOME or RESET_AXIS operations use these settings.
Requires multi-axis interpolation mode.
Hexadecimal notation is used for IDs, indexes, modes and sentinel values where applicable. Physical quantities (such as pulses, milliseconds and pulse/s) remain in their native units. Macro names are shown only when defined by the firmware.
Input parameters
| Parameter | Initial value | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
Axis / targetaxis | X | Selected coordinate axis: X, Y, Z or R. |
Stage 1 ratestage1_rate_hz | Use Current (CURRENT) | Stage 1 fast home-search rate, 1–64000 Hz; also used by single-stage homing. |
Stage 2 ratestage2_rate_hz | Use Current (CURRENT) | Stage 2 home-switch release rate, 1–64000 Hz. |
Stage 3 ratestage3_rate_hz | Use Current (CURRENT) | Stage 3 final home-approach rate, 1–64000 Hz. |
Release pulsesrelease_pulses | Use Current (CURRENT) | Homing release/backoff travel, 0–65535 pulses. |
Maximum homing travelmax_travel_pulses | Use Current (CURRENT) | Maximum homing travel, 1–65535 pulses. |
Initial values are editor defaults for a newly inserted instruction; configure them for the actual machine.
Execution and usage
- Parameters accept CURRENT (keep the current value), DEFAULT (clear this task override and use the saved system default), or an explicit number. Task parameters do not write machine Flash; called functions use the caller task parameter context.
- Explicit homing rates are 1–64000 Hz; release travel is 0–65535 pulses; maximum homing travel is 1–65535 pulses.
