Ellipse XY
ELLIPSE_XY · V4.23XY ellipse from relative center, semi-axes, rotation and direction.
Requires multi-axis interpolation mode.
Hexadecimal notation is used for IDs, indexes, modes and sentinel values where applicable. Physical quantities (such as pulses, milliseconds and pulse/s) remain in their native units. Macro names are shown only when defined by the firmware.
Input parameters
| Parameter | Initial value | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
Z coordinate / incrementz | 0 | Z target or increment in pulses. Check the safe height and complete path. |
Center X offseti | -1000 | X center offset relative to the current position, in pulses. |
Center Y offsetj | 0 | Y center offset relative to the current position, in pulses. |
Major radiusmajor_radius | 1000 | Ellipse major semi-axis in pulses, at most 1000000 and not smaller than the minor semi-axis; the axis ratio cannot exceed 10:1. |
Minor radiusminor_radius | 500 | Ellipse minor semi-axis in pulses, at least 10; this is a semi-axis length, not a full diameter. |
Rotation angle ×1000rotation_angle_x1000 | 0 | Ellipse rotation in degrees multiplied by 1000, from -360000 to 360000; 90000 means 90 degrees. |
Directiondirection | CW | CW or CCW. Check the complete path and travel independently. |
Initial values are editor defaults for a newly inserted instruction; configure them for the actual machine.
Execution and usage
- Use semi-axis lengths and angle multiplied by 1000. Check the complete rotated path and start.
